Mindful Meditation for Stress Relief

Mindfulness training can enhance learning, concentration, creativity, personal resilience and professional effectiveness. For people with a job, relationship and family pressures, it can help with all kinds of day-to-day stress symptoms including headaches, irritability, high-blood pressure, fatigue and sleep disturbances. It can reduce suffering even for those with serious conditions including mild depression, anxiety and panic disorders, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, respiratory disease and chronic pain. Mindful meditation is useful for all ages, interests and levels of well-being.

Instructor

Marcie Wagner

Marcie immersed herself into the practice of mindfulness meditation to find some relief from chronic anxiety and sadness. Soon after, she realized a peace of mind she didn't know was possible. She dug deeper to discover that she had created new, healthier habits of thinking - she changed her brain. Today, Marcie has over 650 hours in silent meditation with nearly 400 hours of mindfulness training and teaching under the direct guidance of the nation's most notable teachers at Omega Institute, Shambhala Mountain Center, Krame Center for Contemplate Studies at Ramapo College, and the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness.
