Miniature Flying Geese Quilt

Miniature quilts are great for using scraps of fabrics and for creating a fun piece for small spaces. They look hard, but using paper piecing you'll get perfect points and sizes without fussing over 1/4" seams! Finished size: 10" x 11-1/2".

Materials to bring to class:

  • Light scraps for background
  • Dark scraps for triangles
  • Border: fat quarter (18”x22”) or ½ yard
  • Backing: fat quarter (18”x22”) or ½ yard
  • Binding: fat quarter (18”x22”) or ¼ yard
  • Batting: 15” square

Supplies: Cotton thread in a neutral color for piecing, cotton thread to match your fabrics for quilting, sharp scissors, seam ripper, pins. You may bring your own sewing machine or use one of the student machines. Pattern, mats, rulers and cutter will be provided.
