TackleBar® Football is a safer approach that preserves the tradition and fundamentals of the game. Practices and games will be based around a 5 verse 5 passing league incorporating passing routes and defensive schemes. An equipment deposit of $100 will be required at time of equipment checkout - check will NOT be cashed unless equipment is lost or damaged - non football related. Teams will be selected based on players weights. Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays with games on Saturdays at Alexandria Area High School Football Fields. The TackleBar system will be used in both grades for practice and games. In compliance with MN Dept of Health Stay Safe MN COVID-19 Prevention Guidance for Youth, Student, and Child Care Programs, each grade is limited to 40 participants, so sign up early! Parent email with additional details will be sent on August 26th.
