First LEGO League (Gr. 4-6)
Imaginative thinking and teamwork build tomorrow’s innovators! With adult Coaches to guide them, FIRST® LEGO® League teams apply science, engineering, and math concepts, plus a big dose of imagination, to develop solutions to real-world challenges. They also design, build, and program LEGO MINDSTORMS®-based robots to perform autonomous “missions” on a playing field. Along the way, they develop critical thinking, team-building, and presentation skills. Dates and times are not listed as this will be determined by the Coaches. First Tech Challenge (Gr. 7-8)
FIRST Tech Challenge teams are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team. Crochet for Adults: Create Your Own Bumblebee!

This fun, hands-on class is perfect for beginners! You'll start by mastering basic stitches and learning how to hold your yarn and hook. Then, we'll dive into reading patterns, guiding you step-by-step to create your own adorable bumblebee. The instructor will provide yarn for practice during the first session, so all you need to bring is a G or H crochet hook. Materials for the bumblebee project will be discussed in class. Don’t miss this creative opportunity to bring your crochet skills to life!

Adult Women's Rec Volleyball

Adult Winter volleyball league is tentatively set to begin the week of January 6th, 2025. Registration begins December 2nd and the deadline to register is 28th. An informational captain email will be sent prior to the league start date. League is self-officiated and participants must be 18 or older and have graduated from high school. Schedules will be emailed to captains by December 30th. A fee of $155.00 is due at time of registration.

Dog Obedience

This is a basic obedience course that will be held indoors for dogs 12 weeks of age and older. The commands covered will be Heel, Sit, Stay, Come and No. But more importantly, it will teach you about dog behavior and training basics so you can continue with your training long after this class is over. The first class is for you only, no need to bring your dog. Your dog will join you for the last four classes. Class size is limited, so register today!

Power Adult Pickleball League (Level 3.5 & up)
Recreation
This pickleball Power league is for players that are 3.5 and up skill levels only. Players will be assigned a court each night with 3 other players. Players on the assigned court will play 2 games to 11 points with each player on their court. Individual points will be kept and the player with the most points at the end of 5 weeks will be declared the Champion!

Film Studies
This series enrolls you in the 6 winter films: Jan.6 & 20, Feb. 3 & 17, and Mar. 3 & 17. Foreign movies are typically shown on the 1st Monday of the month and documentaries on the 3rd Monday. Be sure to check each month's film schedule to confirm dates. You may wish to stay after the movie for a discussion of the film led by a member of the film study group.
