Alexandria Girls Basketball "AGB" Camp (Gr. K-8)SportsNew"AGB" Camp is an opportunity for your athlete to work with the Cardinal Varsity coaching staff on skills and advanced offense and defense techniques. 70% of the camp will be drill work, and the other 30% will be small sided 1 on 1, 2 on 2, and 3 on 2 game play, where players will be put in game-like scenarios that will improve their IQ and decision making. The Pre K-3rd grade session will focus on the basic skills and concepts. The 4th-6th grade session will work on the intermediate skills and team execution. 7th-8th grade will work on advanced offensive and defensive skills, team execution and developing a "Next Level" attitude.Youth Summer 2021 - Spring 2022

Awesome Athletes (Ages 2-18)SportsCome join Alexandria Public Schools in collaboration with the Windmill Project for fun and sports! Awesome athletes provide children with special needs ages 2 - 18 with a fun time to try out different sports and have fun! Each participant gets one support person (18 + yrs of age or older) included in the cost of admission. Additional family members welcome and must register as a participant. When registering select 1 session, 3 sessions or all 17 sessions. Drop ins are ok, but exact payment is required as no change will be available. Beginner Kicking and Punting Clinic (Gr. 6 - 10)SportsNewKickoff your summer with some high-flying fun. If you enjoy kicking footballs or soccer balls then this class is for you. Receive small group instruction on: field goals, kickoffs, and punts. Learn the basic steps, body mechanics, and drills to hit your ball farther and higher. You will spend most of the time kicking footballs with instructor demonstrations and teaching along the way. Please bring athletic clothes and shoes. Cleats preferred. Rookie Rugby (Gr. 3-5)SportsThis is an introductory rugby class. Students will learn and compete in a simplified version of rugby played with flag belts. The rules and program of Rookie Rugby tie together child development, healthy activity, fair play, fun and safety. If your students have soccer cleats, bring them but not mandatory to play the game.
