Have you wondered about those AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators) that you see everywhere? This class will introduce you to the AED, how they work, how to use them properly, and includes hands-on practice. Additionally, because AED’s supplement CPR, this class will introduce you to “Hands-Only” CPR so you are ready for a cardiac arrest emergency.
This class includes hands-on practice using both an AED trainer and CPR manikin, so dress comfortably!
Sharolyn is a member of "Mid-Minnesota K9", and has served many years in her community as a First Responder. She is an Adjunct Instructor with Vermilion Community College; an instructor for Search Management and Search and Rescue Skills; an instructor for First Aid and CPR for American Heart Association and the American Red Cross; and an instructor for Pet First Aid and CPR.
