It has always been a dream of mine to have a place to create, share ideas, and spend time with family and friends in a relaxing environment. Just over a year ago, I opened my own DIY Workshop called The Design Station where I enjoy teaching classes and providing a wonderfully social atmosphere. It just seemed the most natural next step to my 30-some years of creating and crafting. I have three daughters who join me in being very involved in our community and church doing events and projects. I also have a passion for bringing creative classes to the Adults with Disabilities program and offer classes on a monthly basis through Community Education.
