The AARP® Driver Safety course is the nation’s first and largest refresher course designed specifically for drivers 50 and older. Improve your driving skills during this course, and if you're 55 or older, get a 10%, three-year discount on your personal auto insurance. 

By taking the driver safety course, drivers learn research-based safety strategies that can reduce the likelihood of having a crash. They include: Minnesota state-specific driving regulations; proper use of seat belt, air bags, antilock brakes and new technology found in vehicles today; the importance of eliminating distractions, such as eating, smoking, and using a cellphone; learn ways to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time; and understand the effects of medications on driving.
