Ready, Set, Roll! Join the Pumpkin Derby Fun! Pick up your Pumpkin Derby Kit between October 10–24 from either the Miltona Science Magnet School Office or the Alexandria Community Education Office.

Two wheel and axle kit sizes available: Standard Kit – $6, Big Racer Kit – $20 (Pumpkins and decorating materials are not included).  Before the big event, head out with your family to find the perfect pumpkin (between 3–5 lbs Standard kit/14-16 lbs Big Racer kit), design your derby pumpkin, and attach the wheels according to the construction rules provided in your kit. 

Race Night Highlights:

• Bring your pumpkin racer and compete for prizes!
• Need help drilling holes? A pumpkin hole punch will be available before the race begins.
• Prizes will be awarded for the fastest racers and most creative designs.
• A parent or guardian must be present.
