California Sushi Roll Extravaganza - OnlineEnrichmentJoin Tess as she walks you through how to make a variety of the most marvelous California rolls that will make you wonder why you haven’t tried to make your own before. California “sushi” roll combinations are only limited by your imagination! Make them vegetarian, with or without seaweed, spicy or not, it is totally up to you! Learn the skill of creating delicious seasoned sushi rice, spicy mayo, and how to stuff, wrap / shape the rolls, with wonderful filling ingredients. One of these fillings is a “crab” salad that will be created using crabsticks. Tess will also provide a demonstration plate decorating ideas! Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class to allow time for shopping. Have your questions answered by the instructor and interact with other participants as you cook-along. While cooking along is loads of fun, it is optional. Focaccia, Stromboli, & Calzones - OnlineEnrichmentOn the Menu: Stromboli (rolled / filled pizza), Calzones (stuffed pizza), wonderful Focaccia Bread, and an out-of-this-world Pizza Sauce. Two different types of homemade dough will be used. One will be for the pizza options, the other for the focaccia. The instructor will provide step-by-step guidance and instruction help to ensure the process is a simple as can be. Participants can personalize their pizzas and focaccia bread with toppings and fillings of their choosing. Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class to allow time for shopping.
