Block 1 (Gr. 1-3): Explore Spiral Weaving
Note: This class is part of Youth Enrichment Camp, $162 for the week. You must register for Block 1, 2 & 3 in order to participate in the week long camp. Learn to design a unique and trendy style of spiral weaving. Students will use an embroidery hoop to create a loom, and then have a crash course on how to weave, and learn about fiber art history and vocabulary. Once this class has ended, students will be able to independently weave at home using their newly acquired skill set! Fiber arts such as weaving can be a very calming and rewarding lifelong hobby. Learn about famous NASA missions and create different rockets of your own. Topics will include basic laws of physics, engineering, problem solving and creativity. Block 3 (Gr. 1-3): Plaster Mask Making
Note: This class is part of Youth Enrichment Camp, $162 for the week. You must register for Block 1, 2 & 3 in order to participate in the week long camp. Get your hands dirty working with plaster to develop your own unique mask. Students will explore the process behind constructing a mask, using an armature. Students will also design the idea behind the theme of their masks, paint them, and then add details such as beads, sequins, feathers, and artificial plants. Instructor: Alexandra Sletten -
Block 3 (Gr. 1-3): STEAM with Legos

Join us for a week of creative challenges to explore, invent, and express yourself using LEGO! A new build each day uses your problem-solving skills to explore, expand, and imagine! Block 3 (Gr. 4-6): Lego Robotics

Students will make a plan to solve a real-world problem. You will build a robot from scratch and develop a coding sequence to solve the problem. Instructor: Ben Kettler -

Block 3 (Gr. 4-6): Outdoor Woodworking
Note: This class is part of Youth Enrichment Camp, $162 for the week. You must register for Block 1, 2 & 3 in order to participate in the week long camp. Learn how to make your own birdhouse and feeder. Topics will include tool identification, wood craftsmanship, basic construction and identifying native birds of Minnesota. Students will be able to take home their creations to enjoy watching and identifying various birds. Instructor: Tim Lasch -
Youth Enrichment Camp - Afternoon Childcare (Gr. K-5)
Community Education is offering childcare after your child's youth enrichment day. If you are unable to pick up your child by 2:45, they can stay in our childcare for an extra charge. Child must be picked up by 4:00 pm.
