Along the way, they develop critical thinking, team-building, and presentation skills. Dates and times are not listed as this will be determined by the Coaches. For more information, visit https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/fll. Registration deadline September 25. Parent coaches are needed, we can't run the program without you!

In this class you’ll understand recommended safety settings on popular social media apps, parental apps for your child’s Smartphone, and more! We simplify this complicated technology so that you and your child can use the phone safely without worry. Please note that each class is taught live online. If you are unable to attend the live online training time, you can still register and watch the recording of the training at your convenience. Follow-up support is also included from the instructor and participants may reach out with questions at any time before or after the class has concluded.

Holiday Cookie Bake & Decorate Foundations of Royal Icing - Online
Enrichment
Are you looking to start or continue a holiday cookie baking and decorating tradition? Gather your family for baking and decorating, or treat yourself to some quality personal fun time. Learn how to make Royal Icing and the basics for decorating cookies with it at home. Participants will be baking the cookies ahead of time so that they are ready to decorate at the start of class. A PDF with two of the instructors’ personal sugar cookie recipes, and a list of ingredients and supplies needed for the Royal Icing will be provided 5—7 days before the class, to provide time for shopping and baking. The recipes will include a soft and chewy sugar cookie, and a denser crisp sugar cookie. Participants can choose to bake one or the other or both using cookie cutters of choice. One of the instructor’s favorite holiday cookie cutter shapes is a gingerbread person. This is one shape that proves to be a lot of fun to decorate year after year and some time will definitely be spent on this in addition to other holiday shapes. No fancy decorating tips or bags will be needed. We will be using simple plastic sandwich bags to decorate. This class will take place on Zoom or Microsoft Teams, a free on-line software. Participants will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting.
