  • AARP® Driver Safety 4 hr. Refresher Course

    The AARP® Driver Safety course is the nation’s first and largest refresher course designed specifically for drivers 50 and older. If you are 55 or older and have successfully completed the 8-hour course, then you are eligible to renew your insurance certificate by taking this 4-hour course. This 4-hour AARP® Driver Safety course is taught by trained AARP® volunteers. If you are an AARP® member, please choose the discounted rate option when registering.

    Discovery Middle School's 8 lane, 25-yard pool is a great space for a morning workout. Adult Lap Swim is a non lifeguarded swim with key fob entrance for registered adults, 18 years old+ . Registered swimmers are issued a key fob for entrance approximately 7-10 days after registration. Monday-Friday, 5:00-7:00am Closed: New Year’s Eve Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

  • Adult Recreational Pickleball League (Level 3.4 & under)

    This pickleball league is for recreational players only, that are just starting out but are not proficient at all of the shots and strategies in playing the game of pickleball. Your ranking would be 3.4 and under if you have a ranking. Players will be assigned a court each night with 3 other players. Players on the assigned court will play 2 games to 11 points with each player on their court. Individual points will be kept and the player with the most points at the end of 5 weeks will be declared the Champion!

Awesome Athletes provides individuals with special needs a time to try out different sports and meet new friends! The Windmill Project Each participant gets one support person included with their registration. Additional family members welcome but must register.   • DIY Mystery Craft Kits for Adults - Home Delivery or Pick-Up

    Create a modern and fresh craft project that will enhance your home! The art project for each month will have a seasonal or home décor theme. All materials are provided along with step-by-step instructions! Feel creative on your own schedule and be surprised at the quality and fun that arrives at your door!! (Photo is an example of kit possibility only). Registration closes by noon on the 1st of the month and will be available to pick up or shipped by the 25th of the month, depending on your preference during registration.
  • Dog Obedience

    This is a basic obedience course that will be held outdoors for dogs 12 weeks of age and older. The commands covered will be Heel, Sit, Stay, Come and No. But more importantly, it will teach you about dog behavior and training basics so you can continue with your training long after this class is over. The first class is for you only, no need to bring your dog. Your dog will join you for the last four classes. Class size is limited, so register today!
  • Drop-in Pickleball Indoors

    Pickleball is an exciting game created for any age to play and enjoy. It combines badminton, ping pong and tennis. It can be played with two, three or four players and is very easy to learn, not to mention fun to play!! Monthly fee is $24 or $3 drop in each time. Please enter in the activities door #29 at the Discovery Middle School. Silver Sneakers is also accepted as well.
  • History Tour on the Lake

    The view from the chain of lakes has changed through the years and the history is fun, fascinating, entertaining and educational. History lovers will enjoy a leisurely cruise in a “time capsule” when they board a “Let’s Go Fishing” pontoon. Learn about how the lakes were named and how they influenced resort history, business growth, agriculture, the recreational industry and personal lake-shore life. Pontoon size is limited, so register early! These opportunities are sponsored by “Let’s Go Fishing”.

Registration for both participant and staff is required to ensure that we have an accurate count for the pontoon and all the supplies needed for an enjoyable ride. If you answered yes, this Spanish class - designed specifically for healthcare professionals - will help you bridge that gap.
