Then, we'll dive into reading patterns, guiding you step-by-step to create your own adorable bumblebee. The instructor will provide yarn for practice during the first session, so all you need to bring is a G or H crochet hook. Materials for the bumblebee project will be discussed in class. Don’t miss this creative opportunity to bring your crochet skills to life!

Create a modern and fresh craft project that will enhance your home! The art project for each month will have a seasonal or home décor theme. All materials are provided along with step-by-step instructions! Feel creative on your own schedule and be surprised at the quality and fun that arrives at your door!! Join us for a hands-on class for designing effective planters and hanging baskets. Go beyond the centered spike and geranium planter to incorporate new plants that integrate height, length, texture, growth habits, and light requirements. Discover new flowers, vegetables and herbs to use for attractive plantings that will thrive from spring through fall! All participants will plant and bring home a 10" hanging basket or planter which is included in the registration fee. Larger options can be requested on site for an additional fee. Dim Sum is a popular style of Cantonese cuisines that include small dishes that highlight different flavor profiles and cooking techniques. In this online interactive class, we will make cha shu chicken pastry, braised chicken with mushrooms, and vegetables with ginger garlic sauce.

This is a basic obedience course that will be held indoors for dogs 12 weeks of age and older. The commands covered will be Heel, Sit, Stay, Come and No. But more importantly, it will teach you about dog behavior and training basics so you can continue with your training long after this class is over. The first class is for you only, no need to bring your dog. Your dog will join you for the last four classes. Class size is limited, so register today!

Join Community Education and Elden's Fresh Foods for an Easter Egg Hunt at Woodland Elementary School. All children, 9 years of age and younger, are invited to hunt plastic Easter eggs and candy. Children will be divided into 4 age groups and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny will highlight the event. The event is free! Please pre-register to make sure we have enough eggs for all the kids. Be sure to arrive ten minutes early as the hunt will begin promptly at 1 pm!

DASH Sports floor hockey camps provide players a well-rounded hockey experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly stickhandle, pass, shoot, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Sticks and pucks are provided.

DASH Sports Floor Hockey Tykes camps provide little athletes an introductory hockey experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be introduced to how to properly stickhandle, pass, and shoot in a fun and positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes. Sticks and pucks are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.

On the Menu: Stromboli (rolled / filled pizza), Calzones (stuffed pizza), wonderful Focaccia Bread, and an out-of-this-world Pizza Sauce. Two different types of homemade dough will be used. One will be for the pizza options, the other for the focaccia. The instructor will provide step-by-step guidance and instruction help to ensure the process is a simple as can be. Participants can personalize their pizzas and focaccia bread with toppings and fillings of their choosing. Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class to allow time for shopping. Have your questions answered by the instructor and interact with other participants as you cook-along. While cooking along is loads of fun, it is optional. Participants will also receive a copy of the instructor’s personal recipes in PDF format following the class. This class will take place on Zoom.

Almost all fruit trees, as well as many other trees, are propagated by grafting. At its simplest, grafting is the joining of a desired varietal wood (scion) with a desired rootstock. Grafting methods will be presented and you will learn how to care for your grafted plants to turn them into fruitful trees. You will have the opportunity to graft three trees. You will be required to have leather or heavy work gloves. If you have them available, please bring a sharp utility knife, a hand pruner, and a plastic grocery bag.
